Its Tuesday 3 Feb 2009 in the morning and we are about to leave Geelong. Good night in the van but it can get rocky even with the beefed up springs and airbag suspension if you move around alot. I woke really early and just potted around organising everything and speaking with interesting people in the amenity block. One guy has lived in this caravan park for 20 years, he started in a van and is now in a cabin, apparently he got layed off from driving a roadside slasher/tractor because his epilepsy caused him to lose control and vere all over the road and roll the tractor - he's ok now with medication.
The people next door have a 12 metre plus full blown motor home and are carting a massive trailer which carries their V6 4x4 - what a rig. They just move from place to place as the whim takes them and are probably in their late 60's. Have attached a picture of the motorbike I sold (2008 model KLR650) and Kims bike ready for action in Geelong.
wow it's amazing somebody can live in a caravan park for 20 years!
