Katherine to Tennant Creek

er
Day 62
4.4.09

Today we drove from Katherine to Tennant Creek. It seemed like a very long way. One of the most interesting places we stopped was called 'Fran's' at Larrimah which was a little homemade place to stop for a cuppa, lunch, break etc. We had a Devonshire Tea each which cost $24. A little expensive but worth it for the experience. Fran, herself was a real character and we had our tea under the small shed's awning with 2 other couples. One was from Holland and they were riding a Harley around. Fran had bullock and camel pies and snags. I was going to buy some bullock snags but after getting stung for the Devonshire Teas, completely forgot.

Once at Tennant Creek, we stayed in another caravan park on the outskirts of town.
